Revery Wedding Reception

A Timeless & Elegant Wedding at Revery

When it comes to dream Columbus weddings, this one is going to be hard to top. Madeline & Andrew’s reception at The Revery was classic, elegant, and overflowing with energy from start to finish.

Why We Love The Revery for Columbus Weddings

If you’ve never been to The Revery, you’re missing one of Columbus’s most stunning skyline views. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect that day, the city lights sparkling through the windows gave everything a romantic glow.

The space was decorated with classic white roses, subtle gold accents, and just the right touch of glamour—perfect inspiration for any bride who wants a sophisticated yet inviting vibe.

The First Dance Moment Everyone Felt

For their first dance, Madeline & Andrew chose “Stumblin’ In” by Cyril—a fresh, modern take on the Suzi Quatro classic. It was a unique choice and I loved it. With all their guests gathered in a circle around the dance floor (a tip we always recommend), the room felt intimate, connected, and ready for the night to begin.

A Hora to Remember

When I first hit ‘PLAY’ that kicked off the hora, it was pure magic. Guests were clapping, cheering, and singing as the bride and groom were lifted high in their chairs—a tradition that never fails to bring huge smiles and unforgettable photos.

Heartfelt Toasts & Fun Surprises

The toasts from the parents were some of the most heartfelt I’ve ever heard—personal, emotional, and truly one-of-a-kind.

And then there was the shot moment. Led by the groom’s mom, a group of guests gathered at the bar for a round of shots, and the cheer that followed could be heard across the room. It was just a wonderful moment.

Music That Kept the Floor Packed

In addition to modern favorites, we dropped in a few throwback hits that the crowd loved:

  • “You Sexy Thing” – Hot Chocolate

  • “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” – Elton John & Kiki Dee

Both songs got people singing at the top of their lungs—a reminder that the right mix of old and new keeps everyone on the dance floor.

Columbus Wedding Vendor Love ❤️

We had the pleasure of working alongside Seth & Beth Photography—always a joy to collaborate with. Not only are they pros at capturing real, emotional moments, but they also provided the beautiful images featured here. If you’re looking for a Columbus wedding photographer, they should be at the top of your list.

If you’re planning a wedding at The Revery or anywhere in downtown Columbus, I’d love to help you create a celebration that’s just as unforgettable as Madeline & Andrew’s. As a Columbus wedding DJ, my job is to make sure your dance floor is packed, your guests are smiling, and your night is completely you.
