This is what happens when you mix great people, beautiful traditions, and a Columbus wedding DJ who knows how to keep the party going.
Angela & Nathan’s wedding at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral in downtown Columbus was one for the books. From the moment guests walked into the ballroom, the energy was incredible. The couple first met as freshmen at Ohio State University, living on the same dorm floor—a true college love story.
One of the most touching parts of the evening was the photo display of family weddings. Not just parents and grandparents, but great-grandparents—and even great-great-grandparents—were honored. It was a beautiful way to connect generations and share the family’s history.
The ballroom was stunning, with classic white uplighting we provided to create that instant “wow” moment. Elegant pipe and drape around the head table and cake table gave the room a polished, romantic look. These small décor touches made the space feel even more magical.
The dance floor? Absolutely packed. Guests kept requesting both Greek favorites and Arabic hits—so we mixed short sets of each, surrounded by popular wedding classics. If you’re planning a multi-ethnic wedding in Columbus, this is the perfect way to keep everyone dancing.
One of my favorite surprises was playing “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer—a song I rarely play at weddings. The crowd loved it! Angela’s personal favorite of the night was “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World, while “Party in the USA” and “Time of Our Life” were also huge hits.
We closed the night with two unforgettable sing-alongs: “Sweet Caroline” had the entire room in a giant circle, and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” had every guest singing—well, the ladies sang while the guys pulled up the lyrics on their phones!
Special Dance Songs:

It’s nights like this that remind me why I love being a wedding DJ in Columbus, Ohio. A packed dance floor, beautiful traditions, and a celebration that no one will forget.
